Tips for Travelers

• Tipping is generally not obligatory

• The standard electrical supply is 230 volts AC (50 cycles). The three-pin power outlet is not like that used in North America so you will need an adapter – either bring it with you or purchase on arrival. Please note also, if your appliances are not 230 volts you will need a voltage converter.

• Banks are generally open throughout the UK between 9.30am and 4.30pm. However, hours may vary from bank to bank, with some banks open on Saturday mornings.
